In November & December 2017 Max is set to hit the road again supporting the infamous Pop band, ‘Steps,’ on their UK Arena Tour!
Last year Max finished his debut album ‘The Time It Takes’ and not only did he perform all instruments on the album himself, but wrote and produced it, with one song ‘Fall’ becoming a PRS award winning track. The song also lead to him being featured on the innovative eight week SKY TV series, ‘Tin Pan Alley.’ hosted by legendary Radio 1 DJ Mike Read.
More recently Max has been busy touring with Steps on their ‘Party On The dance floor’ Tour,’ which commencesdNovember 12th at the SSE Arena in Belfast .’ Working with his dedicated team of dancers, musicians & designers, Max is performing live instruments with dancers bopping to some of the more serious bangers on ‘The Time It Takes’ album, such as ‘NO’ & ‘Life Is Real.’ The brand new red hot, care-free Pop single Sugar Rush, penned by the man himself is set to top his 20 minute set!
Max’s musical influences such as Jeff Lynne (ELO) & Supertramp, are evident in his music, especially in the melodies and chords. His latest album ‘The Time It takes’ demonstrate this, but his retro influences are given a modern, club , pop production, which help create that great, unique MAX RESTAINO sound.
