PAUL McCARTNEY ANNOUNCES FIRST LIVE SHOWS OF 2024

Paul McCartney will bring his acclaimed Got Back Tour to South America later this year!

Fulfilling his promise to return - Paul McCartney will return to Uruguay, Argentina, Chile and Peru. His first show of 2024 will take place on 1st October in Montevideo.

Irrefutably one of the most successful singer-songwriters and performers of all time, McCartney is behind the most beloved catalogue in music. With songs like ‘Hey Jude’, ‘Live and Let Die’, ‘Band on the Run’,  ‘Let It Be’ and so many more, the Paul McCartney live experience is everything any music lover could ever want from a rock show: hours of the greatest moments from the last 60 years of music – dozens of songs from Paul’s solo, Wings and of course Beatles catalogues that have formed the soundtracks of our lives.

McCartney will return for his first live performance in Montevideo in ten years. He has previously performed in Montevideo twice (2012, 2014) and this will be his third time at Estadio Centenario. This will mark his first live performances in Bueno Aires in five years - in 2019 he played at Campo Argentino de Polo. For fans in Cordoba the wait has been even longer as it has been eight years since Paul visited the city. Paul played his first solo show in Argentina in 1993 and has played eight shows there since. Santiago will see him return after five years - he has previously performed in the city four times, starting in 1993. And lastly, McCartney will return to Lima after ten years, and this will mark his third time performing in Peru and his second visit to the Estadio Nacional.

Paul McCartney launched his Got Back tour in 2022, completing 16 huge shows across the US before performing what the British Times newspaper described as the “best gig ever” with his history-making set at Glastonbury in June 2022. In 2023 Paul performed 18 incredible shows as the Got Back tour rocked through Australia, Mexico and Brazil.

A TRIBUTE TO DAVID SANBORN

It was with great sadness that we learned today of the passing of David Sanborn.

One of the world’s greatest musicians – and a very special person.

We are so fortunate to have worked with him over many years and have fond memories  of his amazing talent and inspiring concerts. 

He was respected and revered by so many great Artistes, whose recordings and performances he enhanced. 

At Marshall Arts,  we often reflect on a spectacular musical night at Wembley Arena when David Sanborn and Al Jarreau appeared on the same night.   One of those moments of magic which will remain forever.

David will be deeply missed, but his music will keep the legacy of his excellence alive for all time.

Our condolences to his family – and to our dear friend, Pat Rains,  – who introduced us to David at the very beginning  – for which we will always be grateful.

NIGHT FLIGHT ARE SOARING HIGH – OMEARA SHOW ANNOUNCED

London based Night Flight are making waves. With their upcoming EP featuring the new single ‘Monster’ and the sold out EP launch show at Next Door Records next month, Sam Holmes and Harry Phillips have announced their biggest headline show to date at Omeara.

Night Flight have been captivating audiences with their ethereal melodies and magnetic stage presence since their inception. Their eagerly anticipated show on Monday 11 November will see the return of Night Flight as a full band.

The EP "English Rose," scheduled for release on 10 May, is seen as a significant milestone for Night Flight. Recorded during a transformative period, it represents a departure from their previous sound, with Holmes and Phillips taking the lead following the departure of former drummer Dan Webb. The songs on the EP were initially intended to be acoustic but evolved into a showcase of experimentation with textures, both lyrically and musically. Mixed by longtime collaborator James Mottorshead and mastered by Nick Watson, these tracks signal Night Flight's rediscovery of their drive and set the stage for an exciting year ahead.

With their third album in the works and a string of releases planned for the year, Night Flight is poised to make 2024 their most memorable year yet.

NESSI GOMES TO PERFORM IN LONDON AND MANCHESTER THIS NOVEMBER

British Portuguese singer-songwriter Nessi Gomes has announced today she will be performing headline shows at two spectacular concert halls in London and Manchester this Autumn 2024.

Performing the first at the historic Cadogan Hall in London on 9th November, Nessi will then head to the RIBA Award-winning Stoller Hall in Manchester on 15th November. Audiences can look forward to Nessi Gomes’ signature ethereal music with empowering, personal lyrics in hauntingly atmospheric and beautiful concert venues, to create two truly memorable live performances.

The announcement comes after the recent release of Nessi’s new song Morning Mirrors, a musical piece that fearlessly calls out toxic femininity, delving into themes of jealousy, comparison, and the painful consequences they entail. The video for Morning Mirrors, soon to be released, will be Nessi’s most ambitious visual production to date.

With 70 million combined streams and the award for Best Unsigned Female Artist UK 2016, Nessi Gomes is a British Portuguese musician, composer and lyricist of rare invention and beauty.

Born on the tiny Island of Guernsey to a Portuguese family, Gomes channels influences from both sides of her ethnicity, blending the essence of the traditional, emotional and ‘larger than life’ Fado folk music with British progressive modern inspiration.

Nessi’s debut album Diamonds & Demons ensued tales of darkness and light allowing a deeper exploration of the human condition, psyche, collective fears and torments. P!NK BRINGS HER BRILLIANTLY FLAMBOYANT ‘SUMMER CARNIVAL’ TOUR BACK IN 2024

P!NK brings her brilliantly flamboyant Summer Carnival tour back in 2024 with newly announced stadium shows in Cardiff's Principality Stadium, Liverpool's Anfield Stadium, Glasgow's Hampden Park and her first ever shows at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Due to unprecedented demand from her fans across the UK and Europe, music icon P!NK is set to make a rapturous return in 2024, announcing brand new dates on her spectacular Summer Carnival World Tour, which saw her play at sold-out shows across the summer, delighting over 1 million of her fans along the way.

Kicking off at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on June 11, 2024, she will then play a string of stadium shows in London, Dublin, Liverpool, Glasgow, Bern, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Brussels, Leipzig, Stuttgart, and Mönchengladbach, before bringing the jaw-dropping tour to a close in Stockholm on July 25, 2024.

Fans will undoubtedly rejoice as the megastar will return to seven cities she visited in 2019 (Cardiff, Dublin, Liverpool, Glasgow, Amsterdam, Stuttgart, Stockholm) and will also play her first ever show in Mönchengladbach, Germany and her first show in Leipzig in over 10 years. She’ll also be returning to Copenhagen and Bern for the first time since 2010.

P!NK kicks off her huge tour at Principality Stadium in Cardiff on June 11, 2024, returning to the Welsh capital for the first time in five years following her sold-out show at the stadium back in 2019. She’ll also be returning to the hallowed grounds of Anfield Stadium, and to Scotland’s Hampden Park, for two shows at each venue, having not played either since 2019 on the Beautiful Trauma World Tour. Following her two sell-out headline shows at BST last summer, P!NK will return to London making her debut with two nights at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Once again joining P!NK on her Summer Carnival Tour in 2024, will be special guests, The Script, GAYLE, and DJ and producer KidCutUp. The Irish Rockers, who also joined the 2023 leg of the tour, have an astonishing list of achievements from the last 14 years, including six UK number 1 albums and 30 million single sales. 19 year-old singer-songwriter GAYLE catapulted into the spotlight in 2021 with the hugely infectious viral hit track ‘abcdefu’. With their new album ‘Songs From Echo Zoo’ released today on limited vinyl and digital formats, Night Flight have announced a headline gig at Oslo, Hackney on Wednesday 8 November 8th - the critically acclaimed London band’s first live show this year.

Available today on Roof Jump Records, ‘Songs From Echo is a compilation of Night Flight’s EP & single releases from 2021 & 2022 and is the first time these tracks have been available in a physical format. The album contains the singles “Something Going On”, “Dreaming”, “Crazy’ & “High Fidelity,” which earned the band comparisons to artists as diverse as The Smiths, The War On Drugs and The Blue Nile.

Recorded at Echo Zoo Studios in Eastbourne with producer James Mottershead, ‘Songs From Echo Zoo’ signifies the final record between the core four that made up the band between its inception in 2018 and 2022 - Sam Holmes (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Harry Phillips (lead guitar, BVs) Oliver Halvorsen (bass, synths, BVs, and Dan Webb (drums). With a new album already in the works and an additional EP on its way in the new year, the LP is very much the start of a new beginning for Night Flight.

“The Songs From Echo Zoo LP marks the end of the first chapter for Night Flight,” says Sam of the album. “At the end of last year, our drummer Dan Webb left these shores to start a new life in Australia. Adds Harry, “We arrived at Echo Zoo off the back of near mind-warping isolation and the studio only plunged us deeper into madness; I think we all may have lost our minds down there at one point trying to nail the perfect studio version of what we had been cooking endlessly at home. But now, we had better ingredients and a better head chef in James Mottershead - who we should applaud for his willingness to indulge us in our 4am overdubs and bickering.

“We are proud of these songs, they took a lot out of us, and pushed us to places that we haven’t been,” he continues “They’re about places, people, the spring and autumn of relationships, and the passing of time.”

“This album was created in box rooms over bowls of cornflakes and will finish as 12-inch vinyl sitting proudly amongst my collection of heroes,” concludes Sam. “A moment in time encapsulated. Onwards now.”

The legendary Paul McCartney announced the highly anticipated GOT BACK Tour, set to grace Mexico City with an amazing concert at the emblematic Foro Sol, the first Mexican date in six years.
