  • Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. No under 14’s on the pitch. No under 2’s permitted in the stadium. All patrons attending the concert must hold a valid concert ticket. Age restrictions are subject to change.

  • The designated wheelchair user area and ease of access seating are now fully booked. Please email pink@safc.com if you have any issues.

  • Bag policy

    All ticket holders are now prohibited from bringing any bag into the stadium unless it is smaller than an A4 piece of paper (height: 297mm width: 210mm depth: 210mm). Bags will be checked at an outer cordon before entering the stadium. Bags larger than A4 will not be permitted entry.

    Bottle policy

    Plastic/metal Reusable Bottles and cans are not permitted into the stadium for security reasons. Disposable plastic water bottles are permitted – all tops will be removed at the turnstiles.

    Smoking policy

    The Stadium of Light is a no smoking venue; however external courtyards will be open spaces as needed.

    No vapes are permitted inside the venue.

    Prohibited items

    Flag poles or sticks for banners are prohibited. Whilst banners of a certain size themselves are not prohibited, please always be aware of other customers as potentially you may be blocking their view.

    Any article that might be used as a weapon, any person deemed to be offensive or abusive, or who may compromise public safety, will be reported to the police.

  • Despite COVID-19 restrictions ending, it is still important to do all you can to minimise the risk of passing on COVID-19.

    If possible, take a COVID-19 test if you have COVID-19 symptoms to check there is no risk of passing on the virus.

    You can also wear a face covering in indoor and crowded areas and continue to wash your hands regularly or use hand sanitiser provided around the stadium.

  • Please ensure you check the weather forecast prior to departure and ensure that you bring appropriate clothing for all weather conditions. No umbrellas will be permitted in to the stadium. In the event of adverse weather conditions, we would advise bringing a rain mac or disposable rain coat.

    Please apply sunscreen regularly even when not in direct sunlight.

    The show will not be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.

  • Please contact the ticket agent you purchased your ticket through. They will be able to assist you.

  • Tickets will be available to collect on the day of the event from the Promoter box office.

    The Promoter box office can be found in the ticket office building off of Stadium Way. Please observe signage or ask a steward who will direct you to these locations.

    Any complaints about the Holder’s ability to view the concert from his/her seat (if any) must be made to the Promoter’s on-site box office within thirty minutes of the commencement of the headline act’s performance. Post event complaints cannot be validated. Any other complaints regarding the concert must be made during the concert to the Promoter’s on-site box office, the location of which is described above.

  • If travelling from NORTH or West of the stadium;

    From the A19 follow signs for A1231 Sunderland, the yellow signs for Park & Walk. Postcode SR5 3XG

    If travelling from SOUTH of the stadium;

    From the A19 follow signs fro A1018 Sunderland then signs for Park & Walk and use city centre car parks. Visit sunderland.gov.uk/carparks

    Concert parking

    There is no public parking available at the Stadium of light, with parking immediately around the venue also extremely restricted. Residential streets in the vicinity of the stadium are also subject to parking permit restrictions. Parking enforcement officials will be in operation.

    Road immediately surrounding the stadium will be closed to all traffic on the day and there are no vehicle pick up or drop off areas on or near the stadium.

  • Sunderland is the nearest main line station, located 10-15 minutes’ walk away in the city centre (walking directions here). For journey planning and other rail information, visit National Rail.

  • Concert goers with purple, red or yellow entry tickets should alight at Stadium of Light metro station. Concert goer with blue platinum green and accessible (pink) entry tickets should alight at St Peter's metro station.

    Metro's will run until 1am.

    Park and ride - East Boldon, Fellgate and Heworth.

  • Pre concert drop off in Wearmouth Street and Monk Street. Post concert, City centre only.

    There’s no need to book expensive hotels or leave early for the last train. Leave the car at home and travel sustainably with the UK’s largest events travel company. You’ll be dropped off at the stadium and taken home after the show. You won’t miss a minute of the action.

Food & Drink

  • There will be a wide range of food and beverages available to buy. Alcohol will be available to buy for adults aged 18, however you will be required to provide photo identification as proof of age.

  • The kiosks all take contactless/card payments.

  • If any customers suffer from a condition that requires specific dietary requirements, please contact pink@safc.com prior to arrival to obtain permission to bring those products in, otherwise they will be confiscated on entry. Searches will be applied at point of entry and guests will be asked to discard any food or drinks before entering.
