Smoking policy

Smoking is not permitted in any area of the stadium.

Bag policy

We will not permit large bags and rucksacks into the stadium but you will be permitted to take small bags and handbags in with you. We class small bags as no larger than 35cm x 40cm x 19cm or standard handbags. There are no bag storage facilities available at the stadium. All bags will be subject to 100% search upon arrival at the stadium, any bags that exceed the permitted size will not be allowed in.


The show will not be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.

The stadium roof is scheduled to be closed for this event. Please ensure you bring appropriate clothing for all weather conditions.

Please contact the ticket agent you purchased your ticket through. They will be able to assist you.

+ I need to collect my tickets. Where is the box office?

Tickets will be available to collect on the day of the event from the promoter box office.

The box office can be found at the WRU Store No.8 Westgate Street (in between Gate 3 & Gate 4). Please observe signage or ask a steward who will direct you to these locations.

Please bring your booking reference number and ID.

Any complaints about the Holder’s ability to view the concert from his/her seat (if any) must be made to the Promoter’s on-site box office within thirty minutes of the commencement of the headline act’s performance. Post event complaints cannot be validated. Any other complaints regarding the concert must be made during the concert to the Promoter’s on-site box office, the location of which is described above.

Finding the Stadium

+ I'm travelling by car. Will there be parking available on site?

Sophia Gardens (approx. 0.5 mile walk to the stadium, Gate 2).

Getting there: Exit junction 32 of M4.

Cost: £15 payable on the day at the car park (cash only).

Parking time: Car park opens at 8am and closes at midnight.

Please note: Sophia Gardens is staffed until 11:30pm. All vehicles are left at owner's risk. The City of Cardiff Council will not be held responsible for any theft or damage to motor vehicles or personal possessions. Any vehicles left in the car park after closing time will be fined.

+ I'm travelling by train. What is the nearest station?

Cardiff Central is the nearest station to the Stadium and operates mainline services from West Wales, the Midlands, the South Coast and London. Cardiff Queen Street Station is a 15 minute walk to the east of the Stadium and offers local rail services across Cardiff and from the South Wales Valleys.

A queuing system is generally in operation at Cardiff Central Station after each event so please check the Transport for Wales website before travelling for further information. When arriving from Cardiff Central station passengers should bear left along Wood Street for Gates 5, 6 and 7 or bear right along Wood Street to Westgate Street for Gates 4, 3, 2 continuing around to Gate 1 on Castle Street.

+ I'm travelling by bus. How do I get to the ground?

National Express coaches will use Sophia Gardens as usual.

Local buses will be diverted out of the central city bus stops. Buses displaced from stops within the closure will relocate to either Churchill Way for the east, Greyfriars Road for the north or Tudor Street for the west.

Cardiff Bus is advising all their customers that all services which are affected by the city centre road closure will divert to the satellite points at 3pm.

For all other bus operators, please visit the relevant bus operator's website for more information about your specific bus route.

Food & Drink

+ What food and drink will be available?

There will be a number of hot and cold food outlets available with a variety of offerings available around the stadium concourse. There will be a number of dedicated kiosks and bars selling soft and alcoholic drinks both on the concourse and within the stadium bowl.

You will be required to provide photo ID as proof of age when purchasing alcohol.

+ What forms of payment are accepted?

Mastercard/ Visa/ Switch and cash are all accepted.

+ I have specific medical & dietry needs. Can I bring my own food and drink?

If any customers suffer from a condition that requires specific dietary requirements, please contact the venue prior to arrival to obtain permission to bring those products in, otherwise they will be confiscated on entry. Searches will be applied at point of entry and guests will be asked to discard any food or drinks before entering.
