Jai McDowall is a dynamic Scottish vocalist and Britain’s Got Talent winner (2011) renowned for his powerful tenor voice and emotive performances. With a career spanning major national and international stages, Jai has earned acclaim for his work across classical crossover, musical theatre, and contemporary pop.
Following his BGT victory, Jai signed with Syco Music and released his debut album Believe, featuring the hit single To Where You Are, which led to a celebrated duet with Josh Groban. He has since performed at the Royal Variety Performance, China’s Got Talent finale, the Queen’s Jubilee, and most recently wowed audiences at Wembley Arena during BGT: The Champions with a show-stopping performance of I’ll Never Love Again.
Jai tours extensively throughout the UK, headlining sold-out solo shows and appearing in major productions including Susan Boyle - Ten Tour, Les Musicals with G4s Jonathan Ansell, Mad About the Musicals, Come What May and high-profile pantomimes at venues such as Windsor Theatre Royal, Leeds Carriageworks, Rickmansworth Watermeet Theatre and many more.
In 2023, he joined the acclaimed vocal group G4 as their low tenor, further establishing his standing within the classical crossover genre, Jai has recently left the group in 2025 to continue with his solo career.
In addition to his UK stage work, Jai is a seasoned cruise line headliner, regularly performing aboard luxury vessels worldwide.
