Let Loose were acclaimed as the ‘boyband who bucked the trend of the 90’s’ as accomplished musicians who wrote and played original material.
They had seven Top 30 hits between 1994 and 1997, of which three were Top 10 singles. They appeared 11 times on the iconic Top of the Pops.
Their biggest hit ‘Crazy for You’ stayed at Number 2 for five weeks and became a 90’s anthem. It remains one of the biggest-selling singles of the 90’s spending a total of 21 weeks in the charts and still receives regular radio airtime and thousands of streams to this day.
Let Loose were named ‘Best Newcomers of 1994’ by The Sun newspaper, as well as much-missed pop magazine Smash Hits.
The next chapter for Let Loose started in late August 2023. Discussions between drummer Lee Murray, guitarist Rob Jeffrey and Bad Boys Inc lead vocalist Matthew Pateman took place for him to join the line up.
This received huge media attention in the national press, including features in most of the tabloids, on national and regional radio and online.
The new Let Loose line-up has already written and produced two new singles including: ‘If the World Was Ending’, which has been well-received by media and fans alike. It featured on the Universal Album Rediscovered All-Stars.
Let Loose have been very busy since their comeback in 2024. Their first gig back was turning on the Christmas Lights in Hereford to a huge crowd of 4,000 people. They played 6 sold-out London gigs, a plethora of Butlins Big Weekenders, Back2 Festival, Brit Fest and many more.
At the end of 2026 drummer Lee Murray announced his retirement from live gigs due to health reasons. The band are very much carrying on after receiving great reactions from their live set.
You get all the hits and some well crafted crowd pleasing covers to rock any festival! Huge energy on stage all synced to bespoke video backdrop visuals. A complete audio visual feast!
Rob Lane who has played bass for the band for a few decades is also in the new line up.
Many festivals book them again after seeing their prowess on stage.
Let Loose are delighted to be performing again and bringing back some 90’s nostalgia, with some new songs too!
