Three time BBC Radio 2 playlisted singer songwriter Callaghan confirms a new UK tour for 2018. Kicking off in Liverpool on 17th April, this is one of her biggest UK tours to date, culminating with a headline spot at London’s prestigious Bush Hall, on 26th April.

“I always love coming home to tour” says US based Callaghan. “It’ll be my first time playing in Liverpool, Brighton and Buckingham, and I’ll be back in York and Glasgow, playing my first headline show at Sage Gateshead, a hometown show in Lincoln and my biggest ever London date. I’ll be joined by some amazing musicians and I’m excited to get on the road and share the new music I’ve been recording this year in LA.”

The tour will coincide with the release of the third EP from a series of recordings Callaghan’s been making in LA over the last 12 months, and will give fans their first chance to hear the new songs live. Callaghan will also be performing tracks from ‘The Other Side,’ her EP released earlier this year, and songs from her forthcoming EP ‘Skin on Skin’, out this December. And of course they’ll also hear songs from her acclaimed album, ‘A History of Now’ including the aforementioned BBC Radio 2 play listed singles.

The new music has all been written or co-written by Callaghan and produced by Anthony Resta (Duran Duran, Shawn Mullins, Elton John), Jeff Fair and Starr Parodi (having worked on scores for huge films like Harry Potter, James Bond and Mission Impossible).

Originally from Lincolnshire Callaghan moved to the USA in 2010 to tour and record with Atlanta based Grammy nominee Shawn Mullins. In 2015, after five years of building her audience across the USA, she returned to the UK with her second album A History of Now, going on to enjoy a hugely successful couple of years which has seen her profile build substantially in the UK. Callaghan has since returned to the UK for multiple trips.

Highlights include two appearances at the massive C2C festival and festival appearances at Cornbury, Celtic Connections, SummerTyne Festival, The Secret Garden Party and Cambridge Folk Festival. She’s also played live sessions for BBC Radio 2’s Bob Harris and Good Morning Sunday and BBC London’s Gaby Roslin and Robert Elms as well as at local BBC stations across the UK.

For every show except Buckingham Callaghan will be joined by New England Singer-Songwriter Jesse Terry. Terry is a prolific, acclaimed, independent artist who left a writing gig at a Nashville publishing house to release his own albums and tour the world. Terry’s profile has grown considerably over the years, performing at Bonnaroo, AmericanaFest, Philadelphia Folk Festival, The Great Escape and many other notable festivals. His most recent album “Stargazer” has garnered airplay on BBC Radio 2, BBC Scotland, BBC Newcastle as well as rave reviews in the UK press.
