British alt rock icons InMe and GUN the legendary Scottish rockers have announced today two very special co-headline shows, kicking off in Manchester at Club Academy on 8 December followed by the Electric Ballroom, London on 9 December.
Tickets go on sale Friday 16 June at 9am.
Hot off the heels of InMe’s 20th Anniversary Tour in October last year, they continue to grow their loyal cult following. These shows will be a chance for old and new fans alike to see the band perform new material from the forthcoming album. Dave McPherson commented on the shows:
"After a long breather we're delighted to play these exclusive shows & showcase a few big surprises. Gun's Swagger is still a favourite album of mine & I hold fond memories of seeing them live many moons ago so it'll be an honour to share a stage with them & have a cracking time."
Following on from an incredible couple of years that saw GUN release their long-awaited album ‘Frantic’ to huge critical acclaim, a sold-out tour across Europe and two sold-out headline shows in their hometown of Glasgow at Barrowlands, the legendary rockers are set to have another phenomenal year with the imminent release of their second album in partnership with Caroline Records. Their seventh studio album ‘Favourite Pleasures’ is released this September and stands proudly alongside the very best of their work. Across the album’s ten tracks are songs that encompass all that’s good and great about GUN - melodies, instantly memorable riffs, and an unabashed, unrestrained desire to rock out!
“These songs mean so much to us and now that they’re ready, we can’t wait for people to hear them and see them live...We’ll of course be playing the hits, but these songs stand up to those and then some” said frontman Dante Gizzi.
Tickets are available Friday at 9AM. Full details here.
