Philippa Hanna has announced a host of support acts to join her on her tour next month when entertaining crowds in Birmingham, Manchester, London and her hometown of Sheffield
Having built her reputation by supporting the likes of Lionel Richie, Leona Lewis and Little Mix, she has conducted a nationwide search to find the perfect openers for each show attracting hundreds of applications from across the UK.
In Birmingham she will be joined by fellow country gals Devon Mayson, the winner of best newcomer at the B&G Country Music Awards last year and Abby Inez, best known as the blonde half of duo Darline.
Manchester sees Philippa joined at The Night & Day Cafe by Becky Higg who opened her debut album launch in 2007 and Lily Jo who has crossed paths with Philippa at several European festivals as part of pop/EDM outfit LZ7
Jill Marie Cooper, whose blind audition for The Voice amassed over 14m YouTube views will be opening the Bush Hall show in London alongside Toby Benson who first became acquainted with Philippa when successfully funding his album through rocketfuelhq.com, the crowdfunding platform Philippa helped to launch in 2014.
BBC Introducing Artist of The Week, Ophelia will kick off proceedings in Sheffield ahead of a set of southern rock/americana from The Fargo Railroad Co. who are cementing a reputation as one of South Yorkshire's best-loved new bands.
On March 30th, the a brand new mix of the single Getting On With Life will be available to download and stream. The song was championed on BBC Radio 2's Bob Harris Country with Philippa's album Come Back Fighting described as 'superb'.
