Who Is Judith Owen?

Renowned for a stylistic range that spans jazz, blues, pop, rock, classical music and musical theatre, Judith Owen has built a reputation as one of the most compelling live performers on the international circuit. Born into a musical Welsh family and raised in London, her sound is shaped by early exposure to classical music, jazz greats and Broadway musicals.

Her 2024 live album Judith Owen Comes Alive followed the success of 2022’s Come On & Get It, which has amassed multimillion streams and more than one million YouTube views. Recorded during a residency at Marians Jazzroom in Bern, Switzerland, the album revisits songs inspired by pioneering, often overlooked women of jazz and blues — a defining theme in Owen’s work.
