Paul McCartney to headline Austin City Limits Music Festival 2018

Alongside Metallica, Childish Gambino, Arctic Monkeys, Travis Scott and Odesza, Paul McCartney has been announced as a headliner for 17th annual Austin City Limits Music Festival.  The history-making bill includes first time ACL Fest performances and only North American festival appearances by Paul McCartney.  ACL Fest 2018 will deliver more than 125 bands across eight stages at Zilker Park, October 5-7 and October 12-14.

This year’s incredible lineup will showcase some of music’s most captivating artists including Shawn Mendes (Weekend Two), Camila Cabello (Weekend One), Deftones (Weekend One), BØRNS, Manchester Orchestra, Lily Allen (Weekend Two), The Breeders, Houndmouth, Sharon Van Etten (Weekend One), Marian Hill (Weekend Two), Elle King, Bishop Briggs, Bahamas, Mt. Joy, Cuco, Durand Jones & The Indications, and much more.  Buzzworthy artists including BROCKHAMPTON, REZZ, GRETA VAN FLEET (Weekend One), San Holo, Gryffin, and Sofi Tukker (Weekend One) will electrify audiences, while Prince’s legendary backing band, The Revolution, bring the groove. 

Austin City Limits Music Festival has been honored to call Zilker Park home for the past 17 years.  In a continued commitment to enrich our community, a portion of proceeds from ACL Festival go directly towards improving Austin’s parks. Since 2006, ACL Festival, in partnership with the Austin Parks Foundation, has donated more than $30 million towards improvements to Zilker Park and parks across the city.   

3-Day General Admission Tickets for both weekends are on sale now. 3-Day VIP and Platinum Tickets and Hotel Packages are also available. Anastacia and Shane Filan will join Lionel Richie on his exclusive UK summer tour in June - a major outdoor tour visiting Northampton, Perth, Lincoln, Shrewsbury, Leigh, Carlisle, Chesterfield, Hove and North Norfolk. 

Special guest Anastacia will join the ‘All The Hits’ tour in Northampton, Perth, Lincoln, Shrewsbury and Chesterfield - making it the perfect opportunity to see her present her electric pop music live. 

Anastacia burst onto the global music scene with her debut ‘Not That Kind’ and has since gone onto massive world renowned success achieving over 20 million worldwide sales, making her one of the fastest and biggest selling artists of the new millennium. Shane will be joining Lionel Richie on his ‘All The Hits’ tour as a special guest performing in Leigh, Carlisle, Hove and Holkham. 

These will be Lionel’s first UK shows since receiving glittering reviews for the ‘All The Hits’ tour which included three nights at London’s The O2. The dates followed a phenomenal Glastonbury performance which drew the biggest crowd of the weekend as over 200,000 people flocked to the Pyramid Stage. Lionel’s incredible success continued as his album ‘The Definitive Collection’ topped the charts and provided his first UK Number 1 in 23 years.

The Lionel Richie ‘All The Hits’ tour will run from Friday 1st June 2018 until Sunday 24th June.

Little Mix announce special guests Rak-Su and Germein for Summer Hits Tour 2018

The world's biggest girl band Little Mix have announced that 2017 X Factor Winners RAK-SU and Australian sister trio Germein will be joining them on their huge of UK summer shows throughout July as part of the group's 'The Summer Hits Tour 2018'. 
 
Kicking off in Hove on 6th July, the run of 15 live shows ends in Inverness on 29th July. The shows will see Little Mix perform their greatest hits, including 'Touch', ‘Shout Out to My Ex’, ‘Black Magic’,  'Wings', ‘Move’ and 'Power'.
 
Brit and Global award winners Little Mix released The Platinum Edition of their smash hit album 'Glory Days' late last year. The original version of the album spent five weeks at the top of the UK Albums Chart surpassing any other album released by a female group this millennium and becoming the longest reigning girl group No.1 album since Spice Girls’ debut 20 years ago.
  
Rak-Su are a four-piece group from Watford who triumphed in The X Factor, in December 2017. They were not only the first male band to win the competition, but also the first ever X Factor act to have had three of their singles top the UK iTunes chart while being on the show, including original tracks Mona Lisa and I’m Feeling You. 
 
Dimelo, the group’s winners duet with Wyclef Jean and Naughty Boy, debuted at No.2 and has now been certified silver, spending three weeks in the Top 10 of the Official UK chart. The day after being crowned the winner also saw Rak-Su achieve an incredible five songs in the iTunes Top 6 at one point, including Dimelo at No.1.

Australian sisters Germein have the kind of close musical partnership that can only be shared by siblings, and are kicking off 2018 with a brand-new sound.  Whether jamming together at their home in the Adelaide Hills, playing alongside Arcade Fire and Catfish & the Bottlemen at the Isle of Wight festival, or opening UK stadium shows for Little Mix, it’s their mutual connection to music that has seen sisters Georgia, Ella and Clara make their mark.

Elton John adds four dates to Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour

Elton John today announced four new shows.
 
A second date at Vienna Stadthalle on May 1st 2019, the first Italian dates of his epic Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour at Verona Arena on 29th and 30th May 2019 and a further Austrian date, this time in Graz at Messe Graz Open Air on July 3rd 2019.
 
Tickets go on general sale this Friday, 9th March at 10.00am for Vienna and Graz.

The second Vienna date has been added after the initial dates - announced as part of Elton’s epic final tour announcement at Gotham Hall, New York in January- sold out immediately.
Starting in Vienna on May 21st, 2019, the first European Farewell Yellow Brick Road concerts will hit Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, Italy Republic of Ireland and Switzerland.

“I want to thank my extraordinary fans for their overwhelming support throughout my career and especially their interest in being there to celebrate my final Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour,” said Elton John. “I am so excited for the start of the tour and can’t wait to see everybody on the road.”
 
Kicking off in the U.S. on September 8th, 2018, the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour will consist of more than 300 shows across five continents, hitting North America, Europe, Asia, South America and Australasia before reaching its conclusion in 2021. These dates mark the superstar’s last-ever tour and the end of half a century on the road for one of pop culture’s most enduring performers. Elton’s new stage production will take his fans on a musical and highly visual journey spanning a 50-year career of hits like no one has ever seen before.

Lionel Richie add third and final concert at Hampton Court Palace Festival 2018

Lionel Richie will headline a third and final concert at Hampton Court Palace Festival 2018.

Tickets for the concert on Saturday 9 June will go on sale at 10am on 9 March and can be purchased from hamptoncourtpalacefestival.com. General admission tickets for Lionel’s concerts on 5 and 6 June are already sold out, with VIP tickets still available to purchase.

International superstar Lionel Richie will be making his debut on the Hampton Court Palace Festival stage, performing on Tuesday 5, Wednesday 6 and now Saturday 9 June.

He will be performing hits from his extensive and much-loved repertoire spanning decades, all the way from the Commodores to the present day. Richie’s shows are world renowned for their party atmosphere. Fans will be able to enjoy timeless mega-hits such as Dancing on the Ceiling, Say You, Say Me, Hello and All Night Long.
