P!nk completes UK leg of her Beautiful Trauma World Tour with a triumphant weekend of sold out shows at London's Wembley Stadium.
Seventeen years since her debut concert in London at Scala in King’s Cross, global pop icon P!NK rocked London’s Wembley Stadium this weekend performing two sold-out shows to over 150,000 people on Saturday and Sunday night.
Since the opening show of the UK tour on June 20th P!NK has played to more than 350,000 fans at the Principality Stadium, Cardiff; Hampden Park, Glasgow (two shows) and Anfield Stadium, Liverpool marking her triumphal return to the UK after a six year wait. Loved by the fans the show was also a critical success earning five-star reviews along the way.
With a huge production featuring daring high energy acrobatic routines, pyrotechnics and dazzling costume changes on the hottest weekend of the year, P!NK proved why she’s one of the greatest performers ever. The Beautiful Trauma World Tour featured a truly anthemic setlist packed with global hit songs perfectly showcasing her incredible vocals. From the moment she descended to the stage from a giant pink chandelier to get the party started, P!NK had the UK audiences hooked.
As well as performing her greatest hits P!NK’s setlist featured new songs from her most recent studio album Hurts 2B Human, which debuted at #1 in 9 countries earlier this year. Songs like Walk Me Home, Hustle and Can We Pretend already sounded perfectly at home next to tracks like Get The Party Started, Just Like A Pill, Who Knew, Funhouse, Try and What About Us as fans sang along with every word.
The Beautiful Trauma World Tour brought P!NK back to the UK for her first tour is six years and has already sold over 3 million tickets worldwide. It was the highest grossing tour in the US during the month of March and continued to break records in Australia and New Zealand with 42 sold-out shows. Once completed, the tour will have played a total of 156 shows across 18 countries.
P!nk takes her the European leg of her Beautiful Trauma World Tour to the continent starting in Paris on Tueday. The tour ends in The Netherlands on August 11th.
